Access Velocity

OUR TICKETING POLICIES

The below policies only apply to Velocity-produced events only. Tickets to Access Velocity performances are handled directly by the individual producer. If you’ve purchased tickets for a performance that is not Velocity-produced, we recommend checking the individual producers’ policies.

Q: Where do I go to pick up my tickets?

A: You can pick up your tickets at our Box Office. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to show time. We do not offer late seating.

Q: What happens if I’m late?

A: All tickets that are not claimed by show time will be released to our Wait List.

Q: How does your Wait List work?

A: If there is a sold-out performance, we will create a waiting list 1 hour prior to show time. If you are hoping to see a performance and do not already have tickets, you can put your name on the waiting list by going to our Box Office in person. We will call available seats no more than 15 minutes prior to curtain. We give wait list priority to Friends of Velocity.

Q: Can I get a refund?

A: Sorry! We do not give refunds, but you can trust that your contribution will go toward supporting artists, leaders, and members in the Velocity community.

Q: Can I exchange my ticket?

A: If you want to go to the same performance on a different date we can do a ticket exchange for free—but only if there are tickets available. Also! Certain events or promotions are not eligible for exchanging your ticket. Please contact our box office at least 24 hours before the original performance date. All exchanges are subject to availability. You can contact our box office here: 206-325-8773 or operations@velocitydancecenter.org

Q: I can’t attend a performance or exchange my ticket, can I just donate my ticket?

A: Yes! You can donate your ticket by returning your tickets to Velocity as a donation. You can also receive a tax deduction for the price of the tickets. Your donation will be acknowledged by mail or email. Please contact our box office at least 24 hours before the performance. You can contact our box office here: 206-325-8773 or operations@velocitydancecenter.org

Q: What happens if a performance is canceled?

A: Most performances will occur as scheduled regardless of the weather. If weather concerns should arise, check with the Velocity office, our website or Facebook page for updates and information. Under special circumstances, tickets for canceled events may be refunded or exchanged upon notification from the Box Office. You may also return these tickets as a donation to Velocity and receive a tax deduction for the price of the tickets. Please contact our Box Office about specific accessibility needs: 206-325-8773 or operations@velocitydancecenter.org

Q: There’s been a change in the performance I was going to watch! What happened?

A: We get that performance changes do not always work out for everyone. We acknowledge that artists, programs, casts, dates, and prices are subject to change due to the many variable factors that go into creating any production. We hope you still attend performances and experience the incredible work of the artists in our community.
